    Description

Dracaena  is a slow growing shrub, usually multi stemmed at the base, mature specimens reaching 15 m (49 ft) or more tall with a narrow crown of usually slender erect branches. Stems may reach up to 30 cm (12 in) diameter on old plants; in forest habitats they may become horizontal with erect side branches. Young plants have a single unbranched stem with a rosette of leaves until the growing tip flowers or is damaged, after which it branches, producing two or more new stems; thereafter, branching increases with subsequent flowering episodes.

    FAQs

What should I do after my plant arrives?

Unbox immediately, remove packaging, and place the plant in its new location. If the soil feels dry, water lightly and let it adjust for a couple of weeks.

Do I need to repot my plant right away?

No. Plants are shipped in nursery grow pots with proper drainage. Allow at least two weeks for your plant to acclimate before repotting into a decorative planter.

Where can I find plant care tips?

Visit our Plant Care Guides section on our website. For personalized help, email info@garden.qa — our plant experts are happy to assist anytime.

How much should I water my plant?

Watering varies by plant type. Generally, water every 7–10 days.

Use 300 ml for small plants and 500 ml for large plants to avoid overwatering.
